Wires

Wires in a wireless society. Oh the irony!

A wire transfer is a way of electronically transferring money from one person or financial institution to another. You can wire funds anywhere in the United States as well as to places internationally. You can also receive incoming wires into your account. The other financial will need our wiring instructions. Feel free to give them our instructions below.

  • Cutoff time for outgoing wires (domestic and international): 11:00 am
  • Wires can only be done Monday – Friday
  • There is no guarantee on how long a wire will take.  It can happen on the same day if the funds are wired early and the wiring instructions are accurate. Note: International wires may take longer (coming from another country, may cause it to be jet-lagged!)
  • Wiring Fees:
    • Incoming Wire Fee (per transaction) – $10
    • Outgoing Wire Fee (per transaction) – $20
    • International Wire Fee (per transaction) – $30

Outgoing Transfers:

The first step is to get wiring instructions from the person or business you are wiring money to. They will need to call their financial institution and ask for their  instructions. Be sure to get the following information:
  • Name and address of Financial Institution
  • Routing Number of Financial Institution
  • Account holder name, address, phone number, and account number of person who will be receiving the funds.

Once you have this information, stop by either of our branches or give us a call and explain that you’d like to set up a wire transfer and be sure to mention that you have the wiring instructions from the receiving financial (see below).
