Down Payment Assistance – Available First-come, First-serve
Thanks to a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, buying a house may be more within reach than ever before. Qualified members could score up to $15,000 in down payment or closing costs assistance.
The Deets
- Must be an eligible qualified home-buyer
- Used to purchase a single-family home, manufactured home or a condo
- Must be primary residence for at least 5 years, then grant is forgivable
- Income limits apply
- Homebuyer education course must be completed before closing
